Single Phase DC Panel Mount Solid State Relay is functionally designed to switch DC load from 10A to 110A. It is available in Single phase and has a Dielectric Strength (Input to Output to Base) of Min. 2500 VAC rms. The input range of this solid state relay is 3.5 – 32 VDC and the output is available in 6 different ranges i.e. 0-100VDC, 0-200VDC, 0-330VDC, 0-600VDC, 0-1000VDC, 0-1200VDC. Single Phase DC Panel Mount Solid State Relay does not rebound or produce an electrical arc and can be directly controlled by logic circuits like PLCs. This solid state relay does not get affected by electromagnetic intervention. A Panel Mount SSR is a control relay with remote input and output, whose functions are attained by means of electronic mechanisms without the use of moving parts like those found in electromechanical relays. A Solid State Relay is an electronic interchanging device that switches on or off when a minor outside voltage is applied through its control terminals. It consists of an Opto-isolator that responds to a suitable input (control signal), a solid-state electronic switching device that switches power to the load circuitry, and a coupling device to allow the control signal to trigger this switch without mechanical parts.
Solid state relays have a high input-output isolation voltage and have a great shockwave and vibration resistance. The benefit of using SSR is that it can be interchanged by much lower current and at a much lower voltage than most mechanical relays. The requirement of power to energize in this SSR is minimum. Solid-state relays do not contain moving contacts, so it can be substituted much faster and for longer periods without wearing out.
