Mains power distribution is the electrical supply coming from an immediate power station to your building. The current flows in one direction and then back constantly, entering via the live wire. In this system, the main distribution network supplies a few substations per region, and the 230 V / 400 V power from each substation is directly distributed to end users over an area of normally less than 1 km radius. 3 live (hot) wires and the neutral are joined to the building for a three phase service. Solid State Relay is used in main power distribution for switching motors, heating elements, and transformers requiring frequent and high-speed switching.
